Action, Not Envy
“Success does not accidentally fall onto your head.
If you envy the success of others, don’t just look at what they have that you don’t have, look at what they did that you didn’t do.
Understand that some of the great things happening in someone else’s life may be an effect, or a result of commitment, patience, discipline, tenacity, learning from failure, industriousness, courageous action, problem-solving, and a refusal to give up.
Being envious is being an object that is acted upon. You wish life would act upon you in more desirable ways, but you aren’t willing to take action yourself to get those desirable things.
People envy action-takers results, but they aren’t willing to do action-takers actions.”
